Happy Things on Friday

Hello Fellow Thrifters and Friends,
   I am so happy it is Friday because Mr Joyful Thrifter and I have five days off together. It is like another vacation. However we are not starting off on a good foot because we are both sick. Well at least we will be forced to get some much needed rest.

Crafty Goodness~ My love for succulents continues to grow as I see the cute planters that people are making or finding for these sweet little plants

Crafty Goodness ~ Cork board turned into a cross stitch board. So creative. 

Home ~ mismatched chairs and a soft grey table. This is very inspiring for my dining room table. 

Wear~ Anthroplogie! Oh how do you always do things so perfectly! They combine patterns and colors so lovely.

What I Wore

    My sweet Sister in Law hosted a fun girl party and that meant putting together a fun girly outfit. This is by far one of my most favorite outfits I have worn lately. It's so soft and pretty, and I had fun wearing it too.

Around Here Lately

Hello Fellow Thrifters and Friends,
   We are home from our trip and life has been lovely. We have been getting back to normal, cleaning, back yard fun, and some new decorating.

Starbucks is the best place to get some reading done. I love looking at the soft light coming into my dining room. The table in that room has been pretty blank for awhile so I added a center piece. My favorite mirror found a home in the dining room as well. I went on a walk early in the morning and it was so refreshing. Even the plants looked happier. My house needed a lot of love when we returned home from our trip. The stove got a deep cleaning, the whole house got vacuumed (I love squishing my toes in freshly vacuumed carpet), and the laundry got started. New plants are always welcomed in our home, and I was happy to bring these beauties home.

European Adventure Day #9

Hello Fellow Thrifters and Friends,
   Well our trip is quickly coming to a close. Today is our last full day in Ireland before we hop a plane back to California. We got to visit the muckross house, and that is such an amazing house. We got to tour the house that is still decorated in original furniture from the 1800's. The queen visited this house as well and we got to visit the very room she stayed in. It was really neat to be so close to history. I loved seeing all of the decorations in the house.

I was in flower heaven.

 I ove the romantic feel of a gazebo. I have loved them ever since I was a little girl.

Behind the Estate they have working farm areas called the Traditional farms. That was really neat to tour. 

This kitty followed us for a long time while were walking through the farms. It was so funny.

This was such a great way to end our trip.

European Adventure Day #8

Hello Fellow Thrifters and Friends,

  Day #8 is by far our favorite day. We got to visit Blarney Castle, which is a beautiful Estate with lakes, streams, and lovely gardens. It is quite the site to see.

Look at how beautiful the castle is. 

This is right after I kissed the Blarney stone. For someone who is VERY afraid of heights I am so proud that I did this.

Oh how gorgeous the gardens are. I just could not take enough pictures of the grounds. Everything is so green and fresh looking.

The Blarney house is just beautiful. I was sad that it was closed until the beginning of the season.

First time trying Irish coffee.

After Blarney castle we drove to the Ring of Kerry and stopped at Ladies point.

We had so much fun jumping around on the the rocks.

European Adventure Day #7

Hello Fellow Thrifters and Friends,

On Day number seven we got to take our rental car out for a wonderful drive. We got to go on little roads see beautiful green valleys, castles, a very old cemetery, and adorable homes.

Can't wait to share day #8 because it was by far our favorite day of our trip.
